ABOUT US

A global leader with a local heart

Eumar Technology is one of the world’s leading innovative medical device manufacturers, based in Hereford UK and serving a global market. Our expertise in clean room technology and hygiene, skin contact and medical devices makes us a reliable partner for health providers across the world.

While we continue to provide best practice technologies and products to the global healthcare market, we have not lost sight of what is important. We are a local employer that truly believes in a happy and engaged workforce. But that does not stop at our door.

We are also committed to helping create a sustainable community in and around Herefordshire and among those workforces we source our material from.

We continue to deliver to the highest levels of production standards meeting sustainability to ISO14001 requirements across our manufacturing processes. We have specifically built our manufacturing and infrastructure around sustainability goals, further adding demonstrable environmental value to our customers’ own priorities in this area.

Eliminating modern slavery

The elimination of modern slavery must be a key priority for all organisations across the world. It remains a key priority for Eumar Technology and Ubersorb, our sister company, to play our part to help eradicate this horrendous practice.

  • We work with 100% of our suppliers to ensure they adhere to our modern slavery policy and anti-slavery approach.
  • We continue to monitor practice from our suppliers to reassure ourselves of their adherence
  • Educate our staff and suppliers to recognise the signs of modern slavery should it be experienced outside of the Eumar Technology environment.

Our modern slavery policy can be found below.

A responsible employer

Our high quality staff are the lifeblood of Eumar Technology and our sister companies. Their attitude and high standards of work set us apart from many of our competitors. We believe for every investment we make in our teams, we get many times more back. That approach works for our staff, our company and importantly, our clients.

We have a range of programmes in place to help our staff be the best that can be.

  1. We have an open culture where all staff, regardless of position, can share ideas, thoughts or challenges. They are empowered to work with a wider team to find solutions.
  2. In Winter, a programme of support is put in place for all staff including free hot meals
  3. We are working with staff to put in place flexible working arrangements, changing the working week following staff suggestions to fit current lifestyles.
  4. As group of companies, we have embedded the living wage as a minimum for our workforce
  5. We provide added support to all colleagues that have caring responsibilities through the Carer Friendly Network.
