2024 is a huge year for both EUMAR TECHNOLOGY LIMITED and its sister company Ubersorb. We are investing in new infrastructure, the skill base of our staff and importantly a sustainable future – both financially and environmentally.

In an increasingly connected global economy, the security of supply chains has become a critical concern for businesses and governments. In 2024, that pressure will only increase, particularly for small and medium size enterprises that are reliant on a global supply chain. This is a priority for Eumar Technology – to give our customers’ peace of mind, and a manufacturing process they can rely on despite global disruption.

Small and medium sized enterprises will be cautiously celebrating with the announced Procurement Bill gaining Royal Assent.

For us, it is recognition of a problem we have known and experienced for many years – that #SMEs do not have the same resources as multinational and global corporations and therefore are severely hampered in public sector procurement. I am sure I speak for many when I say I am looking forward to the new Act being put into practice. But it still needs to be put into practice.

Whenever the United Nations Nations’ Conference of Parties takes place, there is global, wall to wall media coverage of the challenges we face as a human race. The rhetoric, the outrage, and the horrific stories of impact due to the changing nature of our climate are littered across social media accounts. #COP28 has been particularly controversial.
