We are delighted to announce that at the start of the year, we achieved ISO 14001 and ISO 14064 certification

Our recognised Environmental Management System and a net zero target complement each other to achieve a more sustainable and environmental way of working. This will benefit the company, employees, suppliers, customers, neighbours, and all other direct and indirect interactions we have as a company. We have been recognised for our determination to make a difference by, “changing the present to improve the future”. This could not have been achieved without the input, hard work and support of our staff.

Our journey began with the government pilot scheme last year, which has given us a greater understanding. As a result, we have a support system to help us through this annual data collection cycle. We have established our base year and reporting year as per our carbon reduction plan via the website and are now collecting data on our third year.

We need your help and support with the indirect emissions, this is scope 3. This might be sharing data on weights of material supplied, or transport mileage, or perhaps your own scope 3 data if you collect this already. Can you change to 100% renewable electricity supply, as we have done? This data and cooperation in the supply chain and through to customers will allow us all to see areas for improvement to reduce the carbon footprint. I look forward to collaborating with you all.
